"Milwaukee Goes Hollywood -- Again."

NBC is currently shooting a television pilot here in Milwaukee for a new drama called "The Watch". It's a show about a neighborhood watch group (in the fictional suburb of Ridgeview) that takes matters into its own hands. Actor Lou Diamond Philips plays Milwaukee’s Police Chief.

The producers chose Milwaukee because of new film incentives in the area.

The director, Charles McDougall, won an Emmy for directing the pilot episode of "Desperate Housewives". There's no decision yet on whether NBC will pick up the show, but, if it is picked up, you can bet a certain Milwaukee actor named Jon Baas will be taking an interest!
