"Disappointment in Chicago."


Well, the Chicago Cubs came so close to making history this year, and then had it snatched away at the last minute. They made a valiant effort though, and for that I commend them. I guess there's always next year's playoffs right?.... (Although I secretly hope the Brew Crew also does a better job next year. It's about time for them too.).

I can't say I'm rooting for the Florida Marlins now that they've won. I never really liked that team. I suppose that means, my support now has to be for the Boston Red Sox, right? I never really cared for the Yankees; they win too often, and have way too much money. .... Yeah, I think I would definitely smile at a Yankees loss. That would certainly have the potential of making my day! ... [grin].

Oh well, here's hoping for a Boston World Series title this year. .... [sigh]
