"Wagons East.... (and back again)"
They Came, They Saw, They Changed Their Minds.
I happened to catch a very entertaining movie on television this evening called "
Wagon's East"....
Plot Summary: "In the 1860's, when a ragged bunch of misfit settlers out west decide they cannot stand living in their current situation, they hire a grizzled cowboy to take them on a journey back to their hometowns out east."
Very entertaining.... highly unrealistic, but a good sarcastic comedy through and through, typical of many of actor John Candy's movies. Sadly though, it carries with it the sad distinction of being his last movie. He died during filming ten years ago.
Also in the film are Star Trek: Voyager alumni,
Robert Pichardo and
Ethan Phillips, who I always enjoy watching. :)
NFL Sunday Recap: The Pack is Back.
And finally, in other news -- and returning west again -- things were not as comedic for the Green Bay Packers today. They
lost in overtime to the Philadelphia Eagles, and are no longer in the NFL playoffs. A win just wasn't in the cards. But, there's always next year. :)
Final score:
Philadelpha 20, Green Bay 17
