"Boy Meets Girl"

Lately, I've been reading a rather interesting book... a romance book.

Yes, you heard me right -- romance. But don't roll your eyes just yet. It's not what you may think. Written by Christian writer, Joshua Harris, Boy Meets Girl answers the next question in a Christian relationship.... "ok, so now what?"

"What comes between "How do you do?" and "I do"? How do you find a lifetime partner in a way that's God-centered, not self-centered?

Boy Meets Girl is an honest, romantic, and refreshingly biblical look at relationships. It's about dating with a purpose. About frienship plus possibility. About romance chaperoned by wisdom. Join the guy who "kissed dating goodbye" ...and say hello to courtship."
Lately, as some of you may know, I've been doing a lot of thinking when it comes to my own Christ-centered romantic interests -- Probably even a bit more than I need to honestly. But, in truth, I think I've come to realize that this is God's intent in the first place. Maybe He designed love to be one of the most baffling of human emotions for a reason. To make us think, and challenge us to seek His example.

So, as part of my on-going personal research into this most baffling of simplistic emotions, I decided to read this book. And while I personally favor Christian courtship myself -- as opposed to the world's ever-present view on dating -- I think I may even have to recommend the read to others as well. Who knows, maybe you're just as baffled on the subject as I am... In which case, we'd have something in common. And that means I'm no longer in this boat by myself! LOL!

Have a blessed day all, and until next time, keep smiling and learning.
It does a body good. :)

Your happily blogging friend,
-Jon
