"Snow Globe"

I just got back from a walk this evening. It's snowing again, but this time it's the big fluffy flakes -- the kind you can stick your tongue out and catch. All was quiet, the street lights were casting rays of fluttering shadows on the thick blanket of white, and the only sounds to be heard were an occassional passing car. It was almost as if I was walking inside a snow globe. Sometimes there are events that are so beautiful, they are almost beyond words. This was one of them.

Sure I'll probably have to shovel again in the morning, but who cares. That's in the morning. Right now I'm appreciating the beauty of one of the more beautiful snowfalls of the entire winter. I'd say thats worth taking a walk for!
