"Soaked and Green"

Well, the rain has stopped, and the snow is gone. Aside from the snowbanks -- now much smaller in size -- the lawns are once again devoid of anything but grass, and various parts of the state have experienced heavy flooding. I even saw a few tiny buds on a variety of shrubbery around here, and around here you don't want to be seeing that in the middle of cold season.

If this isn't a strange winter, then I don't know what is!
