"Winter Wonderland"
Last night it snowed, and by mid morning here in Milwaukee, we had measured 7-8 inches of the fluffy white stuff. That meant that from about 7am until nearly 11am I was outside shoveling out my apartment lot -- by myself. Very tiring work, mind you. It's amazing how heavy eight inches of snow can be when you have to remove it from drifted over sidewalks measuring deeper than that in some places.
But, the good part was that after I finally finished the task, I was able to come indoors, have a light lunch, and go back to bed. I ended up sleeping almost eight hours. Heh. So much for my Thursday. :P
But, at least I can say that our Wisconsin weather remains consistant for yet another year. In fact, you can almost
expect a winter of completely unexpected weather around here. Shortly after Christmas we had thunderstorms and rain, then rather balmy spring weather (in early January no less), and then a cold winter blast complete with nearly a foot of snow!
Yep, good 'ole Wisconsin. Us cheeseheads are definitely getting used to the gamet of weather over here. It certainly keeps us on our toes, that's for sure. :)
Have a blessed Friday all. Until then,
Your happily blogging friend,
-Jon
