"Flying High!"

Wow, what an excellent way to start my Thursday!

12:00 pm:
I awoke to a call from the individual I was hoping to meet today. He invited me to help him with a notable fundraiser on Sunday, and a chance to make a little extra income in the process. During this event, he and I would also be able to discuss the "really cool project" he's interested in hiring me for. How great is that!!

12:20 pm:
I head downstairs to check the snail-mail. The lone envelope is a notable paycheck I had been expecting. And it was larger than I had hoped. Later today, I'll brave the windy weather, walk down to the bank to deposit it, and then do a little shopping at the grocery store. Maybe I'll even splurge and buy my favorite jelly-filled donut from the bakery... I haven't had one of those in a long time!

12:25 pm:
I check my email and find that I have secured an interview with one of the companies I had contacted earlier in the week. They'd like to meet on Monday morning and discuss a graphics artist/copywriter position! Whoohooo!

Yeah, so, I think this qualifies as a great start to a potentially gloomy day, don't you? Once again God proves that He's the master at working for the good in the most unexpected of ways -- and at the most unexpected of times. Man, I so love that about Him!
