"Exploring Our Solar System"

The Nine Planets -- a multimedia tour of the Solar System -- is an overview of the history, mythology, and current scientific knowledge of each planet and major moon in our solar system. Each page on the site has text, images, some have sounds and movies, and most provide references to additional information.

Quite an interesting read, even if you aren't an amateur astronomer. :)
