"An Eternal Embrace"

Archaeologists in Italy, have found the remains of a couple locked in a tender embrace, one that [they claim] has endured for more than 5,000 years.

The well-preserved skeletons were discovered facing each other, their arms intertwined, during excavation work in an industrial zone within the northern city of Mantua. Over the next few months, scientists will examine the skeletons to try and establish how old they were when they died, and how long they've been buried there.

An eternal hug. Love in the face of death. Now that's romantic!
