"New Neighbors"

In March, my long-time neighbors (who already lived here when I moved in, back in 2002) moved out of the apartment downstairs. Today, my new neighbors moved in. My now-former neighbors (about the same age as my parents) moved to Indianapolis, so the husband could pursue a long-awaited promotion within the Boy Scouts. My new neighbors are a young couple with a small child. This is their first apartment.

I already miss Gordy and his wife -- they were great neighbors, but I look forward to getting to know this new couple too. It'll be different having a young child living downstairs, but I'll get used to it. Here's hoping they just prove to be as friendly and sociable as Gordy and his wife were. I like sociable neighbors! I guess we'll just have to wait and see, though, eh?! :)
