"Quote of the Day"

Since posting this quote earlier in the afternoon, the Lord has chosen to answer one of my most persistant prayers -- and with a "yes" response! As a result, this Bible passage has even greater meaning to today. I'll keep the prayer and related issue private (for personal reasons), but I did want to share my excitement over God's faithfulness in our lives.

Over the past two weeks I've had a matter weighing heavily upon my heart, and last night, I finally gave it to God and said, "Lord, I'm laying this at your feet, the worry and fear is destroying me. By the end of Tuesday, grant me an answer." And He did. Clear as day. And you know what? Just by giving this to God, I've found renewed hope, greater patience, and the desire to persevere even further. The matter is still unresolved, but standing up under it is less of a struggle.

To God be all glory... for He has done marvelous things!
