"83-79: A Winning Season"Well, the season has come to an end, and so has gameplay for the 2007
Milwaukee Brewers. They went out on a high-note today (beating San Diego 11-6), and as a result, they finish with 83 wins and 79 losses. Certainly respectable, considering how far they've come this season!
I even made a prediction back on April 2nd:
"I predict that my Brewers will finally end the season with a winning record (something they haven't done for over a decade!). Even with a weak NL Central, I’m not sure that'll be enough to win the division, but I do think they'll earn that record. They have plenty of depth and talent on the roster this year, and solid starting pitching to support it. Yeah, this could be a very good year!"
Not bad, eh? I know it's far too early, but I'll have a little fun and predict a division title next season. They haven't earned one since 1982. ... Yep. 2008 is the year! Go Brewers!
