"Pennant Fever 2007: That's a Wrap"

Well folks, it's over; The Brewers' season has come to a close. With a 6-3 loss today, Milwaukee is out of the playoff race. The Cubs beat the Reds, and have officially clinched the NL-Central with two games remaining. We had one heck of a run here in 2007... Now it's time to end with a winning record, collect a few post-season awards, and make a dash for the pennant in 2008!

And, the Cubs... well, I don't think they'll make it past the playoffs. Greater teams took top honors; those will be the teams fighting for a pennant. The Cubs squeaked into contention. I think they'll be knocked right back out. But that's just *my* prediction. We'll just have to wait and see.

2007 is done. Time for '08. Go Brewers!
