"A Really BIG Boat"

Royal Caribbean is building what will be the world's largest cruise ship to date. Launching in late 2009, the 220,000-ton Oasis of the Seas will be 16 decks high, it will feature 7 distinct neighborhoods, 2,700 staterooms, and has room for 5,400 guests. It will also have the first amphitheatre at sea, the largest freshwater pool found on a ship, an original handcrafted carousel, lofted suites, a large enclosed "central park", the first zip-line at sea suspended nine decks above the world-class Boardwalk, and all the shopping malls, restaurants, and pubs you can imagine.

The ship's home port will be Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
