"Rumble A'Comin'"I hear thunder. I think we're in for more severe storms.
Local Weather Forecast:
Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few storms may be severe. Low 71F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
Current temperature: A muggy 82F. A Tornado Watch is in effect.
UPDATE: - (4:43 PM)
The local tornado siren just started wailing. The Tornado Watch is now a Warning. I think I'll sign off for a bit and keep on eye on this dangerous-looking storm. See ya on the flipside.
UPDATE: - (8:42 PM)
The severe storms have passed -- for now. However, they knocked out power in my neighborhood, dumped sheets of rain at the rate of 3.01 inches/hour, and flooded parts of Milwaukee. Elsewhere in southeastern Wisconsin, a number of tornados were reported, blowing roofs off houses and knocking down power lines. Other damage consisted of baseball-sized hail and flash flooding.
For now, though, it appears the worst is over. Only a steady rain remains.
UPDATE: - (10:39 PM)
It would appear that another line of severe storms (with tornado potential) is bearing down on us from the west/southwest. And, it could bring our
third straight day of tornado sirens.
