"Playoff Fever 2008: Minus 2"Two games to go, and the
Milwaukee Brewers are on top. Yes, they now lead the NL Wild Card race by one game. The Florida Marlins crushed the New York Mets, and the Brewers did likewise to the best team in the NL (aka, the Cubs). Here's where things stand at the end of today:
National League Wild Card:Team Name .... W - L ... GBMilwaukee Brewers ... 89 - 71 ... ---- ... (2 games left)
New York Mets ......... 88 - 72 ... 1.0 ... (2 games left)
One more win tomorrow, coupled with yet another Mets loss, and the Brew Crew will be the Playoffs -- for the first time in 26 years! Whoohooo! Go Brewers!
