"Playoff Fever 2008: Minus 4"

The Chicago Cubs beat the New York Mets, and the Milwaukee Brewers won game two against the Pittsburgh Pirates, so... [drum roll] ... the Crew are now tied for 1st in the Wild Card Race! Here's where things stand at the end of today:

Game three against the Pirates will feature 22-year-old Yovani Gallardo -- our original #2 starter -- who hasn't pitched in almost five months. He's been on the disabled list since May 1 after tearing a ligament in his right knee. It was supposed to be a season-ending injury.... but, as it turns out, he's well enough to help the Crew. So, tomorrow could be another exciting game! After that, three games against the Cubs... and then, hopefully, the Playoffs! Go Brewers!
